US President Donald Trump announced that Attorney General William Barr will leave office before Christmas.
The RT correspondent reported that Jeff Rosen, Barr’s resigning congressman, will take over as Acting Attorney General days before Joe Biden’s inauguration, and days after Trump criticized Barr following statements about the absence of suspicions of fraud in the elections after the end of the investigations carried out by the ministry.

Barr said in a statement to “The Associated Press”: “So far, we have not witnessed fraud on a scale that could affect the outcome of the elections.”
He added that “federal prosecutors and FBI agents examined the complaints they received about possible fraud, but found no evidence that could negate Joe Biden’s victory.”
