The FBI revealed in the United States that a member of the extremist group “Broad Boys” had been in contact with Trump’s aide before the takeover of Congress last January.
A US official familiar with the investigation told the New York Times that this link had been exposed through phone records and location data.
The official added to the newspaper that investigators have yet to find evidence of contacts between the rioters and members of Congress.
This statement, according to the newspaper, refutes claims by Democrats that some of their fellow Republicans aided the rioters.
Enrique Tario, one of the leaders of the extremist group, had said in a previous interview that he had spoken with Roger Stone, a Trump confidant, during a protest days before the takeover of Congress.
And Tario used a loudspeaker to make Stone’s voice hear the protesters outside the house of MP Marco Rubio.
The “New York Times” reported that investigators have not yet considered this accusation.
However, the accumulation of this evidence raises concern in the United States about a link between the White House, under Trump, and extremist groups such as the “Brad Boys.”
The “Brad Boys” group is known to originate in 2016, and they glorify the white race and embrace the new fascism as their policy. Their fiercest enemies are immigrants and the far left.
Members of the group take political violence and hate speech as an approach towards them to confront their opponents, as the American streets recorded many incidents they had carried out and the media repeatedly banned their movement’s accounts.
Elements of this group support Trump with madness and see that he is defending his beliefs, ideas and slogans that say: “The great return of America. Close the borders. Give everyone a weapon. Glorify the businessmen. It is the role. of a woman being “a housewife.”
This is the first case raised among a Trump aide in the assault on the Capitol, which killed 5 people and injured dozens.
