Trump, who was wearing a black uniform, passed reporters waiting to leave the White House, without answering questions, and climbed aboard the presidential “Marine One” helicopter. Soon after, the helicopter departed for Walter Reed Military Hospital, where the president has a secure private medical room.

“As a precautionary measure, on the recommendation of his doctor and medical experts, President Trump will operate from the presidential offices of Walter Reed for the next few days,” said White House spokeswoman Kylie McCannani.

American television channels broadcast images of the helicopter waiting for Trump in front of the White House, where he had been in quarantine since Friday night. He was transferred to the Bethesda Military Hospital in Maryland, which borders the federal capital.
