Three officials from the White House team are battling Covid-19, including epidemiologist Anthony Fauchi, over the quarantine due to possible exposure to the emerging coronavirus, US media reported Saturday.
The media initially said that Robert Redfield, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Prevention (CDC), and Anthony Fuchi, an epidemiologist who works as a White House counselor, had been quarantined after contacting people with HIV.
The third official is Stephen Han, who heads the US Food and Drug Administration. USA, the authority in charge of supervising food and medicine.
