A satellite image revealed damage to Iranian targets, which were hit by US planes in Syria, on Thursday.
The US network, CNN, said in a report attached to the photos that bombs weighing 226 kilograms were dropped at a compound near the Iraqi border.
The report indicated that the compound was used by Iraqi militias loyal to Iran, namely the Hezbollah Brigades and the Sayyid al-Shuhada Brigades.
The company “Maxar” took pictures of the bombing site before and after the operation, clearly showing the effects of the destruction caused by the bombs.

Before the bombing, the images show about ten buildings of different sizes, as for the following image, almost all the buildings appeared destroyed, while the effects of charring appear on the ground.
“CNN” indicated that it did not know the exact number of deaths. A US official says that a “handful” of fighters were killed, while other sources claimed the death toll was between 17 and 22.
And US President Joe Biden said in remarks Friday from Texas that the recent US airstrikes in eastern Syria should be viewed by Iran as a warning.
Biden added, during a tour to inspect the damage caused by a storm that hit the region: “You will not go unpunished. Be careful,” addressing his speech to Tehran.
Militants loyal to Iran were killed by the US bombardment of F-15 jets, in the Biden administration’s first military operation in response to recent attacks on US and coalition forces in Iraq.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights counted at least 22 deaths from Iraqi factions loyal to Iran, most of which were “Hezbollah Brigades.”
