The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following notice:

On Saturday morning, 8/29/2020, a website published an article in which its author addressed the facts of the Khalde problem, and included incorrect information, and that – according to the article – “the two parties in conflict were summoned by the Lebanese route, according to “blowing one’s beard”, and the intention was to try to end the dispute in the platoon, evidenced by excessive generosity and non-compliance with legal procedures, such as not taking any action against the two parties, noting that both they have issued court orders for a shooting offense that must be stopped immediately.

It is important that the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces clarify the following:

On 08/20/2020 (corresponding to the first of the month of Muharram AD 1442), a problem occurred in the town of Khaldeh due to the suspension of the Ashura sign. They were patrolled by the Internal Security Forces and the Lebanese army, and the situation was controlled.

The problem caused material damage in the shops of the AU citizen – He is one of the two parties to the problem – who filed a complaint with the Aramoun platoon of the regional gendarmerie unit against the two defendants: (AG) and (AM)

On 08/24/2020, the two defendants were summoned to hear their testimonies, but the defendant (AG) invoked the disease, for which the appellate prosecutor Michel Ferzli was reviewed – not judge Nader Mansour, as mentioned by the author of the article-, who indicated that it had continued until Thursday 27 -8-2020.

On Thursday 08/27/2020, the two defendants went to the squad center, their testimonies were heard, the plaintiff (SA) was summoned and a confrontation took place between them (based on the judicial indication). The necessary legal measures have been taken against the parties in conflict, so inquiries were made about them in the Investigations Office of the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces (La Circular), and it was found that there were no prosecutions against none of them, and promised that neither party would attack the other, as well as the promise of the defendant (A.) Paying the costs of repairing the glass that was broken as a result of the problem, and they left for the documents residence, according to the opinion of the competent court.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces calls on the media, especially news websites, to be truthful and objective in the communication of news, and wants them to obtain truthful information from the Relations Division Public.
