In the context of limiting the smuggling of medicines out of Lebanese territory, given the need of citizens, due to its negative repercussions on the Lebanese economy and the public interest.
On 4-10-2020, members of the airport inspection platoon of the security unit of embassies, administrations and public institutions managed to thwart the smuggling operation of a quantity of medicines carried out by / 6 / Egyptians who were heading to Cairo:

They were in possession of / 161 / cans PANADOL، / 10 / Cans CENTER، / 33 / Box COLCHICINA، / 128 / Box EUTHYROX، / twenty / Box SOLPADEINE, Box SABRIL / 2 /, / 184 / envelopes PANADOL، / 147 / Container EUTHYROX، / 12 / Container XTANDI, Box PYLERA.
Upon listening to the platoon of administrative and judicial police, they reported that they had purchased drugs from various pharmacies in Lebanon for use in Egypt..
They were abandoned in exchange for residence documents, based on the advice of the competent court.
