The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following communication:
On 10/17/2020, YM (born 2004, Syrian) was transferred to Great Prophet Hospital on the pretext that he had fallen from the roof of a building in the Al-Salam neighborhood and soon passed away.
Through the investigations and investigations carried out by the Marija squad in the regional gendarmerie unit, I concluded that there had been no fall from the roof of a building in the mentioned locality.
As a result of intensive investigations and follow-up, it became clear that a group of young people were present with the deceased on the roof of the building, and they were:

There was a verbal altercation between the former and the deceased due to the latter’s mistreatment of a dog, which turned into a fist fight, which interfered with its second effect, resulting in the death of (YM) by suffocation as a consequence of the pressure on his neck from the aforementioned.
Both (RB) and (MB) were detained and deposited before the competent authority, and the others were left under investigation, based on indication of the competent Judicial Power.
