The Department of Meteorology expected the weather in Lebanon on Monday to be slightly cloudy to partly cloudy, with temperatures stabilizing on the coast and rising slightly over the mountains and at home, with fog at the top. It says in the following brochure:
General condition: Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin are under the control of hot air masses originating from the Arabian Gulf, and that will continue into the next week.
The usual average temperature for the month of September on the coast: 24 to 32 degrees Celsius in the shade.

Tuesday: A few clouds generally do not change the temperatures on the coast, and they fall slightly over the mountains and inland, and remain above their seasonal levels. The warning about the danger of fires in wooded places continues. We also mentioned the need to stay out of direct sunlight for extended periods during the heat wave and the need to drink more water.
Wednesday: Sunny with few clouds, no change in temperature on the coast, its height in the mountainous regions and decreasing in the interior regions.
Expected temperatures: On the coast from 22 to 31 degrees, over the mountains from 24 to 32 degrees, in the interior from 22 to 43 degrees.
Surface wind: Southwest, speed between 10 and 35 km / h.
Diffusion Average on the coast due to high humidity, sometimes bad in middle mountains due to fog.
Relative humidity on the coast: Between 70 and 90 percent.
Sea: Low wave height.
