The Department of Meteorology expected the weather in Lebanon on Monday to be slightly cloudy to partly cloudy, with temperatures stabilizing on the coast and rising slightly over the mountains and at home, with fog at the top. It says in the following brochure:

General condition: Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin are under the control of hot air masses originating from the Arabian Gulf, and that will continue into the next week.
