The US dollar registered a notable rise against the Lebanese pound today, Monday, November 2, during the price that began in the morning on the Lebanese black market.

According to the exchange operations that were carried out today, the dollar in the parallel market registered a price that ranged between 7,400 pounds of purchase and 7,600 of sale, while yesterday it was between 6,600 of purchase and 6,800 of sale.

The Union of Money Changers of Lebanon announced the exchange price of the US dollar against the Lebanese pound, with a sliding margin between buying at 3,850 pounds and selling at a maximum price of 3,900.

The parallel market is experiencing several fluctuations in exchange rates and a significant drop in recent days, especially after Saad Hariri was appointed to form the new government, after obtaining the votes of 64 parliamentarians.

The exchange rate of the European euro traded between 8,622 pounds for the purchase of 8,855 pounds for sale, while the pound registered 5,207 pounds for the purchase of 5,348 pounds for sale.
