Lebanon 24 learned that “an employee of the Al-Jadeed channel was suspected of being infected with the Corona virus, as it was mixed with an expatriate.”
In the context, Maryam Al-Bassam, director of programs and political news in “Al-Jadid” confirmed in relation to “Lebanon 24” that “the employee met with one of the expatriates who had been traveling a few days ago and participated in a breakfast, so it became clear later that the expatriate carries the virus, “explaining that” the employee works in the newsletter section and did not show any symptoms, but as a precautionary measure all necessary measures were taken.
And she said: “Consequently, all colleagues, including me, were placed under mandatory quarantine pending the results of the laboratory tests, and this is a normal procedure and there is nothing to scare.”
Al-Bassam explained that “since the beginning of the Corona pandemic, Al-Jadeed TV has taken all necessary health measures to guarantee the safety of its workers and employees.”
