The interest of the resistance in the military, then, is not spontaneous. The Resistance, with its technical and human capabilities, documented many operations over more than twenty years. But this time, she outdid herself, breaking the stereotype of the documentary. The series added a new balancing factor, simulating emotional moments. The spectators lived inside him. They were affected as if it had just happened. Also today the “Baptist” students follow the assembly, moment by moment, paying as much attention as possible to the small details. They follow precise criteria to select technically suitable scenes in terms of photography (stability, focus …), sound and what is said, military uniforms, the scene and their ability to show it for safety. They are eager to show a small part of the logistical support provided by the resistance, and their interest in everything that protects the resistance before, during and after the battle. It is a message not only for the enemy, but also for the resistance fighters themselves and to what extent the leaders are interested in their lives.
How did this movement happen? The compilers lived days and nights among the media materials for the martyrs. They listened to his conversations, wills, and the comfort of his friends. Some of them were his companions and were martyred. The producer tried to transfer his emotions, with great mastery, from the field to the show. After a psychological mobilization through fierce fighting footage, the producer turns to music (the famous song that accompanied the series) to convey the scenes to the emotion to “let off steam.” The cast members were spotted multiple times, with tears streaming down on them during preparation. One of the resistance officers involved in the implementation says: “Now it is my turn in the battle, the battle of 2017, it is true that it is from the past, but in the present we have a duty to pass on sacrifices.” Despite the harshness of some of the scenes, they presented a model of strength, not weakness. The producer adopted the camouflage of the face rather than black, in order to increase the level of communication between the resistance officers and the spectators, as security conditions allow. The scenes of the martyrs forced viewers to memorize the event and the story of the episode. It is the first time that the resistance displays, with pride and confidence, scenes of some of its martyrs at the time of their martyrdom. Whatever the above representative scenes, which embodied several similar successful events, they are not effective compared to the actual scenes. The most striking thing was the position of the families of the martyrs. The family of one of them refused to see the scenes that were sent to him before the episode was shown, returning it to them with the green light without permission. Some families regret not having seen similar scenes of their children, knowing that this matter is productive and difficult for all martyrs to achieve, and the reasons are many. In the field, several resistance fighters covered the battles, while others were responsible for documenting the events in writing and filming. The resistance media got acquainted with the camera on the battlefields, especially the Go Pro, turning their heads at the clamor of the resistance fighters’ feet, their grip on the trigger and the buzz of bullets. He was guided by events, not forgetting that he was preparing every second. He is also a fighter. Try to cause pauses, under fire, as spontaneously as possible. The photographer lives in battle the weight of two tasks, documentation and combat. Harmonize between them. Two missions, both of which are a devastating weapon against the enemy. The documentary team summed up all of this by breaking free from the imaging team. See plans and battles as they are. The resistance proved successful after matching the plan with the events of the battle. The followers saw the preparations, the confrontation, the resistance that joined forces with the gunmen from meters away …
After this paradigm shift, the series pushed those involved in the resistance media to seriously think about planning new media coverage and a documentary strategy for the battles. The mechanism is expected to evolve according to a new vision in terms of task assignment, filming angles, event coverage method, timing, audio explanations … the series broke many ideological, military and informational warnings, and reduced the number and timing of traditional interviews. An additional point to record, in addition to the remarkable progress in the use of aerial imagery from resistance reconnaissance aircraft for sites in Jaroud and Galilee. Ironically, the first aerial sightings shown by Hezbollah were a violation of Israeli drone transmission, prior to Operation Al-Ansariyya (1997), which was called the War of Minds (as the martyr leader Mustafa Badr El-Din called it , partner in the foundation of the means of resistance). The resistance stunned the enemy at that moment, annexing it to defeat, and scenes of Israeli remains filled the television screens. Behind the scenes of the raising of the flag, blood was shed, wounded and martyrs rose. Some of the injured lost their limbs, others could speak and others had their sight. Behind the banner are mourning hearts of mothers. Families paid dearly, some of them lost the only ones. After the series, social media was abuzz with the sacrifices of the resistance. It is true that the scenes were cruel, and that man by nature resists change, but they left an unmatched impact. I also displayed the model of the commander at the front of the fight, who hit his neck and felt it and continued the fight. Guys, words don’t describe your uniqueness in front row competition. Words piled up here, unable to describe. That man of resistance, who sits on the body of a martyr, silences the sounds of fire with his firmness, raises his hand to continue the fight for him. The highest standards of consistency speak about that. A medic sneaks into your mind, rushing to bring out a martyr under a sniper’s microscope. They liberated the country from the cessation of atonement, without him at least mentioning them to compensate their families.
The most prominent politicians of March 14 refused to answer the question of having seen the series. Some of them invoked a “personal problem” with the channel, and the other considered that “it did not concern him”, fleeing from the statement, and some begged that his name not be mentioned among viewers after following the series stealthily. As for the truth, these politicians and others follow the “trend” on “Twitter” daily, and they realize that the documentary hashtag ranked first “trend” in Lebanon several times and for more than 24 hours, so forced reports on the series. It should be noted that the last episode will be completed with four discussion sessions entitled “Documentary in a Symposium” prepared and presented by Manar Sabbagh, and may be translated into English. It also garnered the highest views on the channel’s website.
From the Galilean lens, the Israeli media, mired in their own internal troubles, tried to obscure the documentary. Swipe through a news report. Only the leader of the Galilee Division, Shlomo Bender, acknowledged the anxiety that Israel is experiencing, “after its performance in Syria, there is no obstacle in the way of Hezbollah to enter the northern colonies”, as Israel passed from the attack defense. But the truth is that the Israeli army, at its highest levels, monitored and followed the documentary in all its details, especially the last scenes of its sites, and the resistance reconnaissance plane penetrating the busy sky at the height of its alert. Despite my documentary “The Secrets of the Second Liberation”, the full story is too long to be told in Lebanon. It is a heavy story about the enemy. That is why the resistance promises them surprises and the spectators await them. They await the scenes of the precision missiles and the live broadcast of the destruction of the brigades and battleships of the Israeli army. “Oh, resistance fighters … fix your glasses.”
