Donald Trump’s medical staff, infected with the new Corona virus, announced today that the US president’s health status continues to “improve” and he could be discharged from the hospital as of Monday.
Dr. Sean Conley of Walter Reed Military Hospital said the president’s oxygen level had decreased twice since the onset of symptoms, but that it had improved and he no longer had a fever, explaining that he was being treated with a steroid.
“As with any disease, there are ups and downs.”
Trump is being treated, “74 years,” with remdesivir, which prevents the virus from reproducing, in addition to dexamethasone, which is a corticosteroid drug used to treat severe forms of the virus, according to Dr. Conley.
Another doctor, Brian Garibaldi, explained during the press conference: “Today, ‘Trump’ feels relaxed and energetic.
Our goal for today is to get him to eat and drink while keeping him out of bed as much as possible so that he continues to move and feel good. ”
“We hope that tomorrow he can leave the hospital and continue his treatment at the White House,” he added.
Donald Trump, who seeks to win the presidential elections on November 3, announced late Thursday that he was infected with the Corona virus and interrupted his campaign.
Many people close to him were also injured, including his wife Melania.
In a video posted to Twitter on Saturday night, the US president said he feels “a great improvement”, promising to “return soon” while noting that the next few days are the “real test” for him.
