With the beginning of the strong heat wave that began to hit Lebanon and is expected to continue for days, the President of the Republic contacted the Minister of the Interior and Municipalities of the interim government, Brigadier General Mohamed Fahmy, and asked him to mobilize the relevant civil defense agencies and fire brigades to be on alert to fight any fire that could be caused by a wave. the heat.
The Minister of the Interior confirmed that he had developed a plan with the agencies concerned to deal with any fires that might break out in all Lebanese regions.
The President of the Republic also contacted the Commander of the Armed Forces, General Joseph Aoun, for the same purpose.
