In this context, four buses of the “Tripoli Al-Fayhaa Revolutionary Assembly of October 17” departed from Al-Nour Square to Beirut to participate in the meeting of the Martyrs Square to commemorate the memory.
The association “House of Arts and Sciences” and the “Bikfi” campaign organized, on the occasion, a march that went through the streets of Tripoli until it reached Abdul Hamid Karami square, where the participants executed a human mural in the shape of of the Lebanese flag, amid chants of protest that addressed the difficult economic conditions that the country was going through.
Subsequently, the National Media Agency reported: “Several protesters from Al-Alam square in Tire left by buses to participate in the first anniversary of October 17 and the march to be held in the capital Beirut, where the torch of the revolution”.
The activists raised the Lebanese media and banners, confirming that they will continue the march until the demands are met.
A group of Hirak arrived at the Plaza de los Mártires, under the name of “Protecting the Constitution” and the group “Shield of the Revolution” wore yellow uniforms. One of the coordinators, Joe Nasrallah, pointed out that “the groups are descending today in a first attempt to urge the peace of the revolution and its continuation until all demands are met and continued pressure on authority is met.” And also so that the people have the peace of the revolution assured and go to the squares without arrests, distorting or distorting demands, and ensuring the safety of citizens and revolutionaries ”.
