Stano noted that “the European Union is engaged in intense negotiations with the parties to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and the United States.” The official also pointed out that the European Union appreciates the first positive reactions to its initiative to carry out this type of consultation, indicating that work is still being done to organize them.
