The Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Tariq Majzoub, issued the following statement:
To complete a safe return to teaching, the Minister of Education and Higher Education reminds those responsible for schools, high schools and official and private technical institutes of the need to adhere to the following points:
– All educational institutions must be closed in the closed areas specified in the decisions issued by the Minister of the Interior and Municipalities.
– Regarding non-closed areas, and in the event that there is any reason for the closure, it is required to contact the operations room of the ministry on the direct line 01772186 so that the recommendation is forwarded to the Minister of Education to take the appropriate decision after studying the case.
– All educational institutions are obliged to fully adhere to the health guide and decisions issued by the Ministry regarding the capacity of the classrooms and immediately inform the hotline under penalty of responsibility for any injury to the school to students , or to educational or administrative bodies, or workers of educational institutions (including bus drivers) to be taken. Appropriate decisions after studying each case.
The exceptional state of health we are experiencing requires a concerted effort by all the components of the educational family, as well as full commitment to the decisions issued by the Ministry. The Ministry will work to ensure that what has been issued is implemented and that legal measures are taken against offenders.
