Results from the sample of Israeli legislative elections indicated that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party led 31 seats.

It is estimated that the “There is a future” party won 18 seats, and the “Yameenah”, “Blue and White” and “Yisrael Our Home” parties each won seven seats.

Preliminary results also indicated that the Shas party won nine seats, and Israeli media reported that Netanyahu’s bloc won 61 seats should Naftali join the right-wing party, indicating what would allow him to form a government.

The results indicate that the Likud party led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and parties close to him are not expected to obtain a clear majority in the Knesset.

This comes after the voting operations in the elections of members of the Israeli Knesset in occupied Palestine on Tuesday.

The Yediot Aharonot website indicated that the voting rate in the elections up to 8 pm was 60.9%, the lowest since 2009.

Amit Siegel, political correspondent for Channel 12, said: “I have never seen anything like this in my life (what is meant by the results of the electoral samples until now)”.
