A member of the Maradona family revealed the last sentence uttered by Argentine soccer legend Diego Armando Maradona, minutes before his death.
And the local media in Argentina quoted a member of Maradona’s family who was having breakfast when he began to feel tired, and said: “I am not feeling well.”
After that, he returned to his room to lie down, and meanwhile the relatives called the ambulance and within minutes, the health teams arrived at his house.
The sources stressed that “with the arrival of the doctors, Maradona could no longer breathe and the doctors could not save him.”
Maradona was at his home in the city of Tigre, near the capital, Buenos Aires, where he was going through a period of recovery from an operation that had been carried out at the beginning of November, for a blood clot in the brain.
Since the announcement of Maradona’s death, tweets from Arab and international clubs have been reaching social media, to pay tribute to the Argentine soccer legend, who died at the age of 60.
Argentine media reported that Maradona died after suffering a heart attack, and his health had deteriorated during the last period, which required his hospitalization on several occasions.
The president of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, announced the public mourning for 3 days for the death of world soccer legend Maradona.
