After the cabinet meeting, the minister explained that this association “incited hatred”, “maintained relations within the radical Islamic trend” and continued “to justify terrorist acts”.

The founder of an Islamic organization was arrested on charges of electronic harassment in France.

French government spokesman Gabriel Atal confirmed the decision to dissolve the assembly and added: “We will continue this fight against the enemies of democracy.”

The move comes days after the head of the Islamic organization “Pool City”, Idris Yemo, was arrested on suspicion of harassing a former journalist in the satirical online newspaper “Charlie Hebdo.”

Baraka Siti is one of the associations that the French authorities consider “close to the radical Islamic trend” and have attacked it since a teacher was beheaded in a Paris suburb earlier this month.
