The head of the interim government, Dr. Hassan Diab, confirmed that he is not one to make hasty decisions, and does not like “propaganda” media.
This came in response to a question from the “Al-Diffusion” website about the total closure decision that could be made under the interim government, where Diab explained that he asked the Minister of Health, Dr. Hamad Hassan, to provide him with a detailed study on the scope of the new Corona epidemic, the hospital situation and the capacity of hospitals to absorb the wounded, the number of ventilators and intensive care rooms, as well as other medical issues related to this topic.
He noted that he would like to know precisely what the partial closure of some areas has achieved, and the places of defect to achieve it in the desired way.
He announced that he is waiting to obtain what is required next Monday morning, provided that he meets with his technical team to present and discuss the matter in all its aspects and make the corresponding decision, so that it can then be presented to the Supreme Council Defense and understanding with the President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, regarding the closure decision, its duration and those excluded. Furthermore, citizens, if taken, would have the time necessary to manage their affairs.
