After confessing to 93 murders in the past, Samuel Little, who is described by the U.S. Federal Police as the worst serial killer in U.S. history, died Wednesday at the age of 80, according to Agence France. -Presse. The cause of death will be formally determined after an autopsy is performed in Los Angeles; Where he was imprisoned since late 2014. Samuel Little admitted to killing 93 people, most of them women, and the Federal Police (FBI) confirmed his responsibility for at least fifty of these crimes.
The former boxer murdered his victims, who in most cases were isolated minority women, by violent blows or suffocation. Little began his life sentence in 2014, after he was convicted of the murder of three women. But he has since admitted responsibility for killing dozens of people between 1970 and 2005 in some fifteen states in the United States, in crimes that did not receive much attention in most of them.
The police believe that all of Little’s confessions are credible, and they have also created a website that shows video confessions in which the bully speaks in detail, often with his face, about how he committed his crimes, whose victims they were not identified. Simulations, based on information the killer had recalled, were also published in an attempt to identify the victims.
The “FBI”, through the aforementioned website, stated that “many of these deaths were attributed to drug overdoses or accidental accidents or without specifying any cause. Also, some of the bodies were never found ”.
Samuel Little, also known as Samuel McDowell, was first arrested in 2012 at a Kentucky Homeless Center. He was flown to California as part of a drug case. Upon his arrival there, DNA fragments revealed to authorities his involvement in three pending cases, in addition to allowing his conviction in 2014 for the murder of three women in Los Angeles between 1987 and 1989.
