The crazy trip … he traveled 450 kilometers on foot “to escape from his wife”

After a fierce dispute with his wife, a man left their home and walked more than 450 kilometers on foot in Italy for a week.

And local press reports said the 48-year-old left his home to quell his anger after a fight with his wife, arriving from the northern city of Como to the central Italian resort of Fano.

The man, who has not been identified, traveled a distance of just over 450 km in seven days, an average of more than 64 km per day.

However, the man was arrested by the police at the end of his trip, as he was fined 400 euros for walking down the street at 2am, in violation of quarantine rules in Italy.

Authorities impose a curfew from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., in an attempt to slow the spread of the new Corona virus.

When writing the crime, the police discovered that the man’s wife had reported that he had been absent from their home for a week.

Speaking to the newspaper El Resto del Carlino, the man said the volunteers provided him with food and drink during the course of his arduous journey.

“I’m fine, but I’m a bit tired,” he said from a hotel in Fano, where he was resting.

Last October, the authorities were forced to impose new restrictions on the population in an attempt to contain a second wave of the Corona virus, knowing that Italy was among the countries in the world most affected by the epidemic.
