The British newspaper “The Independent” reported that the body of a woman was found in a bag in a shelter in the west of the capital, London.
The newspaper reported that the accident occurred last Friday afternoon at the Pay and Sleep Inn in South Hole and police were called to the scene.
Police confirmed that a body had been found at the scene, noting that they had not yet reached the cause of the accident and that investigations were continuing to identify the victim.
No arrests have yet been made as part of the investigations into the case.
“The Independent” quoted an inmate as saying the woman had known her for about five years, describing her as “a good person and a good friend to him.”
Another inmate claimed that the victim’s friend had disappeared after the accident, noting that a Polish inmate said he had gone to a bus station.
