The 2020 mechanical fee waiver law is emerging!

Since its announcement last July, the bill to exempt all private and public motor vehicles, motorcycles, and automated rental vehicles has confused 100% of the annual mechanic fee for 2020 or 2021, car owners they confused whether to pay or not.

After leaving the Council of Ministers, the bill passed the second step when it was approved by the Commission for National Defense, Interior and Municipalities. However, this does not mean that it has entered into force, since the General Assembly of the Council of Representatives has not studied the project and has made it an enforceable law, to be published later in the Official Gazette. Will the law pass the third step soon through the approval of the General Assembly?

Representative Rola Al-Tabash Jaroudi explained to Al-Markaziyah that “there is no reason for confusion, as the legal path to study any bill or bill is through parliamentary committees, and then it is submitted to the general assembly if approved. The mechanical examination “revealed that” we requested the inclusion of the aforementioned bill on the agenda of the General Assembly scheduled for 21 this month, and it is expected to be approved at that time.
