The Syrian Information Ministry denied information circulated on some social media about the decision to impose a partial curfew on Syria.
The ministry’s social media accounts quoted a “Ministry of Information source” as saying that this information was not correct.
The ministry pointed out, according to the source, that the measures taken by the ministries of education and higher education, scientific research and endowments refer only to stopping the working day in kindergartens from the first to the fourth grade and suspending the working day of basic education students up to the eighth grade in addition to suspending the workday in universities and institutes for a period of two weeks.
The source, who was not named by the ministry, asked the media and social media pages to adopt the news broadcast by official institutions and “not be carried away by rumors.”
