The corridor was equipped with logistical needs, including health and ambulance teams and means of transportation.

This opening was overseen by the Governor of Idlib, Muhammad Netouf, and the secretary of the Baath Party branch in the governorate, Osama Qaddour Fadl.

The tables were distributed according to the tasks assigned to the facilities of the crossing and the supposed passage of the people, and places were assigned to meet the needs of women, the elderly and children with different needs, through the teams of the Arab Red Crescent Syria.

Furthermore, the reception centers in Hama city were secured and equipped, in cooperation with Social Affairs and Labor in Idlib, and were provided with various necessities such as food, clean water, sleep and other necessities.

The Idlib governor stated during the opening of the crossing, “The Syrian government continues to work to free its citizens from the control of terrorist groups, who use them as human shields, within their control areas in the fourth de-escalation zone.”

Sources told RT from inside Idlib city that armed groups have set up checkpoints, blocking roads leading to Saraqib city and preventing any citizens from trying to reach the crossing.
