We can find those who see it as a preparation for the climate of internal discord, which requires raising the level of sectarian and racial feelings to levels that help ignite internal discord and wars. But apart from all that, what concerns us here is the following question: Does this speech help, regardless of whatever party it has issued or whatever group it addresses, to rebuild the state and achieve all those objectives and demands that the Lebanese people want in reform and the economy? Meeting and administration …; Especially because those who adopt and practice this discourse at the same time want the State and its construction, and tackle all the obstacles that prevent its restoration?
I can clearly say that this discourse suffers from a structural dichotomy and an apparent contradiction, because although it claims to be interested in the State, it is working to destroy it. While he says he wants to restore it, he strives to undermine the most important social and political foundations of it. Rather, he is practicing the gravest crime against the state and the nation, when he seeks to spread the culture of destroying the state in the form of state-building, and when he works to reveal the culture of undermining the state with the clothes of its restoration. and presence, because many of the groups that will be affected by this discourse will work to destroy the state, and she thinks that she builds it; And he will work to undermine its foundations, while deceiving that he is restoring it and ruling its structure; This is the most dangerous thing a public gathering can suffer, when all groups in society dominate the minds of a culture of demolition, failure, estrangement, backwardness and strife … and believe that with this they are building their state and claiming their country, because there is a difference between those who practice demolition knowing the ugliness of their action, and between those who practice demolition, and believe that with it they build the nation and the state, because the former can retract their sin at the slightest awakening of conscience , while the second will go deep into demolishing and destroying, because he believes that he practices building with it. It will be more difficult for you to undo your sin, because in addition to the sin of demolition, you suffer from distorted conscience, vision blindness, and even the presence of false conscience, and this is more dangerous than others, because the problem will be deeper, more difficult to deal with and most damaging to the state and the nation. Unfortunately, this is what this discourse is doing, that is, it exerts a distortion of consciousness, seeks to build a consciousness that contradicts the State, and works to create a self-dynamic to destroy it. All under the headings of construction and restoration of the State.

The main obstacle preventing the construction and restoration of the state in Lebanon is the prevalence of sectarian consciousness and rampant sectarianism of all kinds.

If we believe that this is Lebanon’s main problem, this means that if we want to build the state, we must work to reduce the level of sectarian consciousness in favor of national consciousness, besiege factional sectarianism in favor of an inclusive and transectarian and sectarian affiliation. , and address all racist sentiments in favor of a level of patriotism that revolves around national interests and state building, which is what meaningful communication requires, transforming the media into a forum for constructive dialogue, rapprochement between different groups, understand the other as they are and understand their concerns and needs, instead of becoming platforms of demonization and incitement, sowing discord among the Lebanese and widening the divergence between them.
This needs to build a discourse that unites and does not separate, and works to expand participants rather than destroy them, build trust between cults rather than eliminate them, seeks to understand the concerns and requirements of each group rather than demonize it, and strive to build bridges with the other national, instead of building walls with him and raising them, and he helps. Propose the vision of the minimum around which everyone rallies to support each other, and start from it to restore the state and its presence, instead of working to sow enmities between the components of Lebanese society and develop hatred towards it.
Consequently, the political and media discourse adopted by some parties and the media in Lebanon, regardless of the slogans and the background; It does not contribute to building the State, when it works to widen the gaps between its citizens, nor does it help to restore them, when it destroys the remaining trust among its components, and it does not strengthen the components of its presence, when it works to undermine any possibility of expanding the common. between them and build on them.
Those parties and media are invited to review their speeches and policies, to be honest in their claim of concern for the State, and more in line with the headlines and slogans that are presented, and to realize that building the State does not imply demonizing the other, inciting him, practicing annulment against him and demolishing the remaining trust between the two. The Lebanese people, widening the divisions between them, sowing hatred and enmity between their groups, and going far in distorting their conscience, which leads to undermine the social base for the construction of the state, because what we need most in the project Building the state is promoting a national consciousness that transcends all groups, which is the basis for building the state. And restore it. Regarding the persistence in distorting the conscience, filling it with more factionalism, racism, hatred, hatred, alienation, enmity and trust between the groups of Lebanese society; It is the most evident evidence that there are those who do not want the State, and that they are using the “construction of the State” as a mere slogan to practice the logic of abolishing the rights of others, and that the crisis in Lebanon goes further of any discourse on the political class or the system … to reach in its depth the content of social, cultural and political consciousness. Lurking behind any discourse or policy, indicating that change in Lebanon must affect all political, social, media, cultural, economic and other dimensions and levels, and that reform first needs to reform consciousness and purify it of all racial and group sediments, so that whoever practices that discourse will realize that The State Restoration Project does not involve the work of demonizing any of the groups and sects of Lebanese public society, including the who adhere to the option of resistance and their society, and the practice of more than one annulment of their right, and confront it with a kind of racism and factionalism, and that the construction of the nation occurs in cooperation, equity and association . Fair and working to build a comprehensive vision, a fleeting identity and an affiliation that encompasses all components of the nation. So that these media do not become shovels that destroy the country to stone and human beings, while they mourn it, and do not protect it.
