Spain decides to build a public school in Karantina with capacity for 500 students

The Spanish minister expressed her country’s willingness to help Lebanon in the current difficult circumstances. I also informed President Diab of Spain’s decision to build a public school in Lebanon with a capacity of 500 students in the Karantina region, which the Spanish government will equip with modern technology and the necessary extensions.

He indicated that his country had provided Lebanon with emergency humanitarian aid through some non-governmental organizations operating in Lebanon. I also informed President Diab that Spanish Prime Minister Teru Sánchez will visit Lebanon on November 5.

For his part, President Diab thanked the Spanish Minister for her visit and the assistance provided by Spain to Lebanon, praising the distinguished relations between the two countries.
