The Minister of Displacement, Ghada Shraim, explained that the economic plan includes all the suffering that Lebanon is going through as it approaches all the files presented, and this is an important step to advance towards negotiations with the International Monetary Fund .

In an interview with Voice of Mada, he indicated that the government is taking advanced measures and that the arrests and the fight against corruption that we witness indicate seriousness in dealing with the crisis, and we are sure that we will achieve a positive result, a note in the context that the fight against corruption begins when each minister begins to fight corruption in his ministry, “And all ministers are convinced of that.”

Shreim emphasized that the IMF cannot yet be said to have agreed to help Lebanon, but there are positive signs. And she said: The Cabinet knows that there are Lebanese dollars and is working to recover them. It may be subject to political pressure, but our dependence on this issue is in the people and the media. We hope that public opinion and the media will help us complete what we are doing, and we ask them, instead of attacking the government, to take positive steps and motivate ministers to increase work. ”

He stressed that the government is open to all valuable and constructive comments about the economic plan.

And he saw that Lebanon cannot borrow more money to increase public debt, but the use of the cash fund is inevitable and the important thing is that this money knows where it will go.

Regarding the issue of displaced people and the weight of the economic situation, Shuraim spoke about a plan that the government is studying, especially after 45% of Lebanese are below the poverty line, and stressed the need to that the international community carry out its functions.

Shuraim concluded his claim The judiciary must do everything necessary to decide on the files submitted to it by the Ministry of Displaced Persons and other ministries, “You cannot trust a judge or two.”
