A woman stabbed her 10-year-old cousin and seriously injured her four-year-old cousin on Christmas Eve in a Paris suburb.

One of the residents of the building where the crime took place in the Lime area said he woke up in a panic after hearing horrible screams from the family home.

He explained that he saw the boy who received several knife stabs, especially in the stomach area, without moving or breathing, upon the arrival of firefighters who said he had died at the scene, and the girl was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Following a search during the day, a third victim was found, a baby born in November, whom investigators said was the defendant’s son.

The Versailles Prosecutor’s Office, near Paris, claimed that the minor was found on the floor of the apartment, where five adults and three children from the same family had met on Christmas Eve. He did not show the injury, but examinations revealed the presence of “physical scars.”

The accused of the crime was released from the hospital after being admitted to the hospital for treatment after her arrest, and investigators were able to hear her testimony. It turned out to be a 31-year-old woman who worked in the municipality of Lemé, near Paris.

Neighbors said that a few months ago the family moved to the ground floor of a social housing building in a neighborhood near the local train station.

Police sources said that the alleged perpetrator said she was “obsessed” when the accident occurred, that she had bruises on her forearms and that she is in the process of psychological straightening.
