The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following communication:
Coinciding with the glorious Holy Week holiday, and to reduce the risk of spreading the “Corona” epidemic, the exit and entry to streets and highways will be prohibited during the period of 5:00 in the morning of Saturday 3-4-2021 , until 5:00 in the morning of Tuesday 4-6-2021, with the exception of the sectors excluded from the closure decision issued by the National Chamber of Disaster Management Operations, which are mentioned in the attached table.
The operational units of the Internal Security Forces will take various measures to ensure the correct implementation of this decision, including:
Carrying out patrols by car and on foot, installation of fixed and mobile barriers, and occasional parking lots in all Lebanese lands, to control violations.
Support the municipal police in regions and towns when necessary.
Take the necessary legal measures against the offenders of the owners of establishments, companies, shops, shopping complexes, stadiums, clubs, party venues and others … such as organizing arrest records for the first offense, organizing a report of forensic investigation and work with the reference of the competent Judicial Power in case of recurrence of the violation.
Emphasize the obligation of citizens to wear a muzzle under penalty of organizing an arrest warrant against any offender.
Roaming during this period is restricted to people who have been excluded in accordance with Decision No. / 96 / M. s. Date 6-2-2021, according to the conditions specified in the bodywork. And for people not covered by the exception who are subject to the closure decision after obtaining permission to move through the link covid.pcm.gov.lb (that is, the sectors mentioned in the attached table).
It is allowed to make prayers in places of worship respecting the preventive measures and measures against the Coronavirus and social distancing within / 30 /% of its absorption capacity, obtaining the believers permission to move from the “IMPACT” platform.
People traveling to and from Beirut International Airport can transfer after showing the necessary documents (travel ticket, boarding pass …)
This General Directorate calls on honorable citizens to fully adhere to the content of this decision and not violate it, in order to preserve citizen security, and asks them not to hesitate to report any infraction they see, by calling / 112 / in case of emergency. cases, or by submitting a documented complaint of the violation (a copy or a video clip …), on their social media sites.
