The preliminary result of the elimination of a terrorist group by the Information Division in Wadi Khaled.
The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following report:
As part of the follow-up of the Information Division of the Internal Security Forces on the perpetrators of the Kaftun crime, this division was able to determine the identity of the perpetrators and the number of 4 people, who turned out to be part of a cell that worked to ISIS in Lebanon.
As a result of the information and field monitoring, the Information Division was able to determine the identity of all the members of the terrorist group, which were more than 15 people, who worked under the command of the Syrian (MH), for which they were arrested / 3 / group members.
On 9/26/2020, the Division managed to locate the members of the terrorist group in Wadi Khaled in an isolated house, and the division’s strike force carried out a security operation to besiege the house. The members of the group opened fire with light and medium arms against the force, and were answered, resulting in the death of all the terrorists.
The process is still ongoing and the results will be announced successively.
