Dr Mario Valchi, a senior lecturer at Kings College London, who led the research, said that “Covid-19” patients reported having a rash for weeks, much longer than the most common symptoms of the disease.
Dr. Falchi added in the study, which has not yet been published in a journal or reviewed by other scientists: “The Covid-19 rash can appear in many forms and at different stages of the disease.”
Valchi noted that the rash “although less common than fever, is more specific to Covid-19 and lasts longer.”
