Saudi Arabia: Arrest of a terrorist cell whose agents received training inside the sites of the Revolutionary Guard in Iran

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted the official spokesman for the Presidency of State Security in the Kingdom as saying that “a terrorist cell was overthrown, whose members received military and field training within the sites of the Revolutionary Guard in Iran, including methods and methods for making explosives, and confiscating a number of weapons and explosives hidden in two locations. “
The spokesperson indicated that “security investigations led to the identification of these elements, and the identification of two sites for them, from which they were used as a hideout to store quantities of weapons and explosives.”
The spokesman added: “The security operation resulted in the arrest of members of this cell, who are (10) accused, 3 of whom received training in Iran, while the rest were associated with the cell in different roles.
The spokesperson pointed out that “a quantity of weapons and explosives hidden in two places were seized, one of which is a house and the other a farm. The seizures include (9) explosive elbows in case of entanglement, (67) explosive fuses, (51) electrical detonators, and a large group of capacitors and transformers. Electrical and electronic resistors used to share and manufacture explosives, counting (5.28) kg of fine and coarse dust, number (17) of packages containing chemical materials, number (13) of transmission and reception of electrical signals, number (2) circuit reception switches and (4) advanced listening devices. “
The competent authorities have started, as reported by “SPA”, “their investigations with all the detainees to learn more information about their activities and the people associated with them internally and externally, and forward them after the investigations complete their procedures to the Judicial Power” .
