The head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, expressed the condolences of the people of Bcharre for the death of Joseph Touq.
Geagea called for investigations to be carried out as soon as possible, stressing that “as Syrian refugees have been shown to possess weapons, it is necessary to establish security services with a comprehensive survey in the region.”
He continued: “I appeal to the people of Bcharre al-Arz not to act outside the law and wait for the investigations, and I have full confidence in the judiciary.”
Geagea considered that “the worst of the current crisis is that it has not been decided who is responsible, so that we can see how it is handled, and how complaints are presented, it would help to cover up the person responsible and not know the offender.”
He asked: “Can anyone believe that since October 17 no one has acted? The political logic is no longer broad enough to describe the logic in which we live.”
