Russian “Sputnik” tops US iTunes chart.

For the first time in the history of Russian films, the film “Sputnik” (The Companion of the Road) by Russian director Yegor Abramenko leads the iTunes platform in the United States to screen films and music. The film, which belongs to the category of fiction films, also ranked fifth in the application in the category of “cinema” in terms of rating of the favorite films of American viewers. An announcement made by the press office of the Art Pictures Studio workshop, which produced the film and cited its producer, Mikhail Vrubel, was revealed by IFC’s purchase of the rights to the Russian film by IFC in the United States of America.
