In a statement to Al-Anbaa, Roukoz called for “the holding of a national conference, based on a national understanding, in which all Lebanese parties participate,” considering that Lebanon is essentially subject to internationalization, in terms of the initiative. He said: “Since there is a disagreement on the formation of the government, let there be an international conference to solve all the problems in Lebanon, from political to economic, with the need for international institutions like the World Bank and others to participate. at the conference, so that we can save Lebanon, because continuing in this way will lead us. To the total collapse of the country, pointing out that what is happening today in the protest movements is a testament to the dangerous conditions in which Lebanon finds itself. going through in the light of its multiple and aggravated crises.

And he demanded that the international conference be a meeting of all Lebanese, not a conference about the Lebanese.

Roukoz considered that “all political forces prevent the formation of the government, hoping that a popular government will be formed that responds to the aspirations of the people, not the aspirations of the politicians,” stressing that “in the end, a government will be achieved.” outside the political class that led the country to these conditions ”.
