A new administrative committee of the Lebanese Ski Federation, headed by Freddy Keyrouz, was elected by acclamation during the Extraordinary General Election Assembly held at the “Rastan” Hotel. The Vice President of the Olympic Committee, George Zidan, representing the committee, Naji Hammoud, representing the Ministry of Youth and Sports, attended the delegates of 24 clubs with 28 voting rights. The General Assembly of Elections was preceded by an assembly ordinary annual general, then the attendees moved on to the special election session led by the senior club representative, Nishan Hamamjian Highlighting the great role played by the Union Administrative Committee during his tenure in the development of the game of snowboarding. He then announced the presence of 14 candidates to fill the 11 seats within the Administrative Committee, and also announced the withdrawal of three candidates with the aim of reaching nominal elections. The retiring candidates are Philip Abi Samaan, Fabian Al Asmar and Zaid Battish. Finally, Hamamjian announced that the 11 candidates had won by acclamation. The award-winning members by acclamation then held the seat distribution session, and the result was as follows: Freddy Keyrouz (President), Salim Keyrouz, Victor Abu Saad and Naji Khalil (Vice-Presidents), Laura Nassar (Secretary to the Secretary) , Raymond Sukkar (Treasurer), Shadia Mubarak (Accountant), Zeina Derian (Chairperson of the Technical Committee), Robert Keyrouz (Director of National Teams), Youssef Shamil Khalil (Delegate of the Lebanese Federation to the International and Asian Federations and Undersecretary), Walid Daher (Assistant Treasurer).
