Real Madrid narrowly beat Real Betis and clinch their first victory of the LaLiga season.
Real Madrid achieved a difficult 3-2 victory over Real Betis in the match between the two teams that took place on Saturday night, in the third match of the Spanish League.
This is the reigning champions’ first victory of the LaLiga season, as they opened their games with a goalless draw against Real Sociedad on the final matchday.
Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde opened the game’s goals in the 14th minute, before Algerian international defender Issa Mandi managed to equalize Real Betis in the 35th minute.
Two minutes later, Real Betis added a second goal through William Carvallo, to end the first half with a 2-1 lead.
In the second half, the merengue scored again and managed to tie in the 48th minute after the Betis Emerson defender scored a goal by mistake.
In the 82nd minute, the referee awarded a penalty for the Royal Club, which was executed by captain Sergio Ramos, to score his team’s third goal.
