President Aoun stated that his battle for reform continues, and the international community calls for reforms as a prerequisite for helping Lebanon with its economic and financial recovery.
In turn, Rampling announced his deep regret for his departure from Lebanon for special family reasons, wishing that Lebanon would regain its stability and health and that the Lebanese people could overcome the difficulties facing their homeland, noting that Great Britain will remain alongside Lebanon and his institutions, especially those of security, indicating that he will work from his new position. On the development of relations between the two countries.
For his part, General Lorimer highlighted the importance of military cooperation between Lebanon and Great Britain and introduced his successor, Marshal Martin Sampson, who will assume his mission and visit Lebanon from time to time to ensure relations between the Lebanese armies. and British for further military achievement.
