The Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, said she assured Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “the firm support of Congress for Israel’s security.”
In her tweet on Twitter, Pelosi wrote: “I spoke with Netanyahu today to reaffirm the unbreakable ties between our two countries and the strong support of Congress for the safety and security of Israel.”
He added: “We discuss ways to combat the coronavirus and our common hope for regional peace, including a just, stable and durable two-state solution.”
