US media announced that the Democratic candidate Joe Biden had won in Arizona, consolidating his victory in the presidential elections that took place on November 3 in the United States.
If these results are formally adopted, it will be the first time the Democratic field has won in that state since 1996.
NBC, ABC, CBS and CNN announced that the Democratic candidate won by more than eleven thousand votes in these elections, which saw intense competition.
“Fox News” and the Associated Press announced that Biden had won in this state on election night, infuriating his opponent, Republican President Donald Trump.
If he wins in Arizona, Joe Biden will have the support of 290 high-level voters, while he would have needed 270 voters to win the presidential election and enter the White House on January 20.
Donald Trump still refuses to acknowledge his Democratic opponent’s victory, more than a week after the election, while poll results have yet to be announced in two states, North Carolina and Georgia.
