Oppo is known for its smartphones, Blu-ray players, and other electronic devices. Oppo is one of the leading companies in the field of smartphones and one of the best smartphone brands in China in 2019, ranking fifth in the world.
Oppo announced the launch of its first smart TV models, the R1 and S1, and the Chinese company stated that the new TVs have a QLED screen, 1500 nits brightness, and a 120 Hz image refresh rate.
The new televisions are based on Google’s Android-based ColorOS TV operating system with an on-demand camera, HDMI 2.1 port and NFC technology, for quick pairing with remote control devices and smartphones.
The technical equipment package of the OPPO S1 luxury TV includes the completely new MediaTek MT9950 SoC processor, which allows the playback of 8K content, although the screen itself works in 4K resolution and can display the content at an image activation speed of 120 Hz.
This model has 8.5 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory and is compatible with Wi-Fi 6 technology, the 65-inch QLED screen has a brightness of 1500 nits and the background can be dimmed in 210 regions, with NTSC color gamut coverage of up to 120%.
The company noted that the R1 is equipped with a 55-inch 4K panel that operates at a 60Hz image refresh rate with DCI-P3 coverage of up to 93%, and a MediaTek MTK9652 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of flash memory pulse. The company has not announced the launch date of the new devices in global markets or their prices in the Arab region.
