The Amhaz family held a meeting in Husseinieh, the town of Nabha, during which they denounced the painful incident that occurred in the southern suburbs of Beirut that caused two victims, and the two assemblies issued the following statement:
We are the Amhaz clan. We are shocked and dismayed at the heinous crime committed by one of the clan members against our two brothers from the Al Mushayk and Al Hamiyah clans. Al-Amhaz called on all security and judicial bodies to “fulfill their duties and what is required of them as soon as possible and without delay, especially so that we do not cover this crime, the perpetrator, the interference in it or the cover-up of Either way, in the interests of our unity in the Bekaa and throughout Lebanon, and not the weight of this heinous crime will be borne by those who have nothing to do with it, so that the role of reason and wisdom will dominate attitude and behavior.
The statement concluded: “We offer our family our sincerest condolences to our family and the Mushik family, and to inspire patience and comfort in grieving families, and may Almighty God cover them with the breadth of his mercy and the vastness of his paradise, and to protect us all from the evils of sedition and discord, and to always remain in our words and actions that please Almighty God In accordance with Sharia and the implicit agreement between the families and clans of the region of Baalbek-Hermel, we reject him and waste his blood. ”
