The commander of the second region of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Navy, Admiral Ramadan Zirrahey, announced the joining of the oceanic warships to the Revolutionary Guard Navy before next March.
Admiral Ramadan Zerrahey said, in a press release on Monday, that “a number of ocean vessels currently being manufactured will join the Revolutionary Guard Navy at the end of the current Iranian year ending in March 2021.”
He added: “The Revolutionary Guard currently owns several missile launchers and drones, as 188 reconnaissance drones have recently joined the Revolutionary Guard Navy, which were manufactured in the defense industries sector of the Ministry of Defense.”
Ramadan Zirrahey stated that the Revolutionary Guard Army is fully prepared and possesses the latest combat and training skills.
He stressed that “in the event that the enemies commit something crazy, they will face a decisive response from the Army of the Revolutionary Guard.”
The commander of the second region of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Navy said that “the capabilities of the Navy, whether on a humanitarian or equipment level, cannot be compared to the eight-year war with Iraq, as the Guard Revolutionary has modern equipment and information capacity at the regional level and supervises all ongoing activities well. “
He pointed out that “one of the tasks of the Army of the Revolutionary Guard is to combat illegal fishing and the smuggling of fuels and drugs.”
