The Minister of Economy and Trade of the interim government, Raúl Nehme, issued Circular No. 2/1 / A regarding the reopening of economic sectors in stages, in accordance with the decision of the Ministerial Commission in charge of managing the Corona pandemic crisis. at the national level, and within the framework of the implementation of the second phase of the aforementioned decision related to the reopening of the commercial sector as of 03/01/2021, and the text of the circular said:

All companies and commercial establishments object of the decision are obliged to adhere to all preventive measures and procedures against the Corona virus circulated in this regard and to take the organizational and logistical measures to reopen on the aforementioned date, including carrying out PCR controls. to its workers, provided that the time of opening of these sectors and the mechanism to obtain the required permits are specified according to a timely statement issued by the National Operations Chamber for Disaster Management in Grand Serail.
