The surprises of Anthony Warner, whose caravan exploded in downtown Nashville Daba, terrified among the people on Christmas Eve, does not stop.

After one of his neighbors revealed that he had told him days before the fateful attack that destroyed dozens of buildings in the middle of the city full of cafes and restaurants, that the world and Nashville would never forget him, and that he would become famous, a friend revealed another surprise about him.

The US media quoted a friend of hers as saying that she had warned US authorities last August that he was picking up a bomb in his mobile car, but the FBI did not obtain permission to search her home and car.

Warner had recently abandoned a car he owned and told someone close to him that he had cancer, although it was unclear whether or not he really had cancer, the New York Times reported, citing investigators in the case.

Furthermore, some of his financial records showed that he purchased components that could have been used in the manufacture of the bomb.

Warner, 63, has long worked in the electronics field as an IT specialist for businesses in the Nashville area. Steve Friedrich, the director of one of those companies, said that Warner sent an email to the company on December 5 announcing its retirement.

Relevant US authorities are still investigating more than 500 reports of the explosion, which injured three people in the heart of America’s country music capital on Christmas Day.

Hundreds of federal and local police officers participated in the investigation, which was carried out on Friday and destroyed several cars and damaged more than 40 businesses and left traces of destruction in a large area.
