Emphasizing the operation of a direct airline and the establishment of liaison offices between Morocco and “Israel”, Netanyahu thanks King Mohammed VI and President Donald Trump, describing the decision to approve normalization as “historic”.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked Moroccan King Mohammed VI for his “historic decision” to accept the normalization of relations between Morocco and “Israel”.
Netanyahu also thanked US President Donald Trump, the sponsor of the agreement, Thursday, saying: “This is a great light for Israel. The Morocco agreement is historic and another great light for peace.”
The Israeli prime minister stated that “a direct airline will operate between Morocco and Israel” and liaison offices will be established, adding that “after that, we will establish full diplomatic relations and peace.”
The Royal Court of Morocco, for its part, confirmed that King Mohammed VI had informed Trump of his “intention to facilitate direct flights to Israeli tourists.”
It should be noted that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced today the approval of Morocco and “Israel” to normalize and establish diplomatic relations, to be the fourth Arab country to normalize its relations with the Israeli occupation in just four months.
While this coincided with the United States’ recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty over Western Sahara, the France-Presse agency said that “Morocco confirms the resumption of diplomatic relations with Israel in the shortest possible time.”
And Israeli Intelligence Minister Eli Cohen said in August that there are Arab countries that will sign a “peace agreement” with “Israel.”
In an interview with Hebrew Channel 20, Cohen pointed out that “among the Arab countries that are candidates to sign a peace agreement with Israel are the Gulf states and the African Arab countries, led by the Kingdom of Morocco.”
