Resigned MP Nadim Gemayel noted that “Lebanon has been martyred every day for 30 years due to the pattern of occupations and the way politicians treated citizens,” noting that “since the martyrdom of the martyr President Bashir Gemayel, Lebanon has been martyred every day. “
In an interview with the program “The Seventh Day” on “Voice of Lebanon”, he said, “The fire that broke out on Thursday returned and burned the hearts of many Lebanese and brought to mind the incident of August 4.” She said: “They promised us that the results of the investigation will appear after 5 days, and the response of those involved is that there is no report on how the explosion occurred, they are looking for an incendiary ram and there is no tent over anyone’s head.
And he considered that “what is required of judge Fadi Sawan to have an independent authority, and if the process was repeated 6 and 6 and included all the security services to waste the shinkash, the matter will not pass.” He continued: “We want clear answers where the ammonium nitrate came from, how it got to Lebanon and who benefited from it all.” These years, and why has no one asked for it all these years, since there is evidence that nitrates do not explode without explosive materials, and we want answers to all these questions.
Gemayel stressed that “he does not speak in his capacity as a resigning deputy, but as a normal Lebanese citizen and someone who raises his voice and transmits the voice of the Lebanese”, and said: “I consider myself a citizen and I want to engage in a comprehensive confrontation with this authority that has destroyed the country. In this country and for our children to live in it according to our dreams and aspirations for the future.
He said: “The first thing that is required of the Lebanese is to speak and confront this corrupt political class, and I ask all honest Lebanese to fight for glory and dignity to end procrastination and this mentality that led us to what we have achieved “.
He noted that “he resigned from parliament to be able to face more of this failed and black age.” I submitted my resignation because I believe that my release from parliament allows me to demand the resignation of any bad person who ruined Lebanon. It is time to end the one that brought black shirts and May 7 and the Doha Agreement. These are not correct issues for the rotation of power and governance in a democratic country. They have modified a lot. One of the political norms and concepts of the country by virtue of the dominance of arms, intimidation and force, and the time has come to end all these effects that have nothing to do with Lebanon.
And he added: “We want the heads of government to impose who they see fit to carry out real reforms. As for succumbing to pressure and intimidation, we have made sure that bringing a person with a ‘parachute’ will not be offered and He won’t be delayed while the guns control the decision I’ll raise his hat.
He mentioned that “Bashir Gemayel demanded 10,452 km2 of sovereignty, dignity, freedom and security, in addition to the fact that if we as Christians are in danger, the danger comes first due to the lack of a clear vision of their future, security and political and economic stability in the Libano.
In conclusion, he called for “disarming Hezbollah.” This does not mean that we are afraid of it. Rather, this weapon creates an imbalance in Lebanese and regional stability, and stability is necessary for the security not only of Christians but of all Lebanese, and so that we do not see them in front of the embassies asking for immigration to obtain peace and stability. .
